“Innovations in Factory Built Housing”
What’s new? Multi-story homes, using up to four sections, Hardie Panel trim and siding, Energy Star ratings for the entire home’s energy efficiency – See photos and learn about HUD Code homes used for in-town, infill projects. Examples of non-profit and for profit use of manufactured housing; a Cincinnati brownfield redevelopment and a complex of two story and duplex housing in Seattle.

In many conference sessions and workshops on manufactured homes, issues, topics and concerns emerge that are specific to the individual jurisdictions present. This presentation is designed to give the participants a firmer foundation to focus on these issues and to bring them up to date on what is available. This can be a spring board for a healthy discussion that emerges from the participants. Given that many different levels of land use regulation and intensity of development patterns will be represented in each gathering, it is considered to be of great importance to plan adequate time in any agenda for these discussions.
