Progress Log 9/24/07 - We're enjoying the new office
space and meeting facilities.
6/14/07 - Everything came together and the
office was set.
6/5/07 - Masonry is complete and the target
house arrival is June 12.
5/31/07 - Masonry.
5/21/07 - The footers are poured.
5/17/07 - Foundation work is underway with
concrete pouring planned
4/19/07 - After complications with the
easements, all easements are filed and the next phase of
construction is ready to continue.
4/15/07 - The Classroom in the new KMHI modular office building will
be named "Bill Poynter Education Wing" to include an appropriate
display listing Mr. Poynter's major contributions to the industry
and to KMHI.
2/7/07 - Construction Timeline:
- Release of easements - Last week of
February or first week of March
- Complete foundation for delivery of
building - Two weeks (weather permitting)
- Site visit and delivery of building -
1 week
- Installation, site work and trim out of
building by Patriot - Two weeks (weather permitting)
- Parking lot, sidewalks, post installation
site work - One month (weather permitting)
- Possible move-in date - Mid-May

1/4 - The weather has been cooperating to allow excavation.
11/28 - Trenching
11/6 - Pictures of the excavation. click
10/26 - Site demolition and preparations are underway.
As of 9/25:
- Site plan, water and sewer, storm water
run-off, drainage plan approved by Franklin County Planning and
Zoning.
- Foundation/footer layout provided by
EnergyMate
- Architectural design and floor plan
completed.

- The old building is gone and the new
modular office building is ordered.
- The EnergyMate Homes Division of Patriot
Homes, Inc in Elkhart Indiana will be building our structure.
- This new building will better serve the
KMHI and will present a more attractive, professional and credible
image to the public.
- The building will be one story,
approximately 4,100 square feet.
- We will have a reception area, offices,
storage, a kitchen and restrooms. Separate men’s and women’s
restrooms!
- An important addition are the new
classrooms.
